About the company
“DRIFT Eyewear® is a company founded on quality, craftsmanship, and a desire to push the eyewear industry to a new level through technological innovation and ecological consciousness”.
The following information all comes from the company itself, so is not independently verified. I don’t therefore feel I can give a category. However, on the basis of the materials put out by the company, at the very least they are working to reduce their use of non renewable resources while using renewable resources (ie wood) in a product which is traditionally largely made from petrochemical derived materials.

“We share a portion of our profits supporting local agents for change. We are a proud member of 1% for the planet where we donate 1% of profits every year to U.S. based companies to help improve our planet”.
(I’m not entirely sure why they would be giving money to ‘companies’ but certainly the 1% for the planet program supports some great environmental causes).
